Chief Bob Sanderson spoke on the History of the Arcadia Police Department today at a "brown bag" lunch hosted by the Ruth and Charles Gilb Arcadia Historical Museum. About 50 community members and City employees gathered on the patio of the museum for the talk. Chief Sanderson walked us through the early days of a combined police and fire Department along with the advancements within current APD as implemented by each Chief of Police. Thanks to the Museum for hosting the event and to Chief Sanderson and Department personnel who assisted in putting the presentation together.
