It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official News & Information Blog site for the Arcadia Police Department. It is our hope that this media site will provide you with a convenient way to keep track of the activities of the Arcadia Police Department, learn tips for safety and crime prevention, and communicate back to us your thoughts, comments and suggestions.
We are now in the second year of providing a great avenue of communication and engagement to our community, and beyond, through our various social media platforms. This Blog, the Arcadia Police Department Facebook page, and our presence on Twitter, have given us new and progressive ways to connect with the community. We believe that social media plays an important role in our service delivery and our ability in “Making a Difference.”
The nature of police work changes at a faster pace than ever before in our history, and this site is one way we hope to quickly communicate important information to the community at large. Likewise, your response to us through this site will be reviewed daily, and allow us the opportunity to respond in a timely and efficient manner.
