Search Warrant Leads to Prostitution Arrests



INCIDENT:  PROSTITUTION SEARCH WARRANT/ARREST – APD Case # 16-0266

DATE AND TIME OF RELEASE:  January 15, 2016, 2:00 P.M.


On Thursday, January 14, 2016 at approximately 8:00 P.M., Detectives from the Arcadia Police Department served a search warrant at a residence, located in the 400 Block of W. Duarte Road suspected of being a brothel.  Detectives received tips via the “See Something Say Something” campaign, identifying suspicious activity taking place.  Detectives began surveillance of the location and confirmed criminal activity was taking place.

As a result of the investigation, a female Chinese National, and two male San Gabriel Valley residents were arrested on misdemeanor charges ranging from, P.C. 647(b) - Prostitution and P.C. 653.22 – Loitering for the Purpose of Soliciting Prostitution.

We encourage responsible citizens to report any and all suspicious activity they may observe to the police department.  Remember, if you see something, say something!
