Are you a teen interested in a Law Enforcement Career? A great path is to become a Law Enforcement Explorer with your local Police Department, Sheriff, or Highway Patrol Station. Many of our officers here in Arcadia were once Explorers and have gone on to long and rewarding careers in Law Enforcment. The Explorer program is a hands on way to imerse our youth inside the field and examine whether or not they have the desire, commitment, and ability to make this a life long career.
APD has a long standing and active Explorer program. We would like to congratulate our latest academy graduate, Explorer Briana Mata, who graduated this past weekend from the 16-week Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Explorer Academy. Briana is pictured with Captain Larry Goodman, along with Explorer Advisors, Detective Jeff Start and Officer Wally Ashby.
