Resident Injured During Overnight Hot Prowl Burglary

Incident:  PC 459-Burglary and PC 245-Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Date and Time of Occurrence:  December 10, 2015 at 1:09 AM


On December 10, 2015, at approximately 1:09 A.M. Arcadia Police Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of South Tulip Lane regarding an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspects forced entry into the residence to commit a residential burglary.  A male resident was woken up by the suspects striking him in the head with an unknown object before fleeing the location.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The suspects were both described as males, wearing dark clothing and masks, armed with unknown type handguns.

The loss is undetermined at this time.
