Officers Mike Turrell (left) and Kevin Fox (right) are pictured with Chief Bob Sanderson (center) shortly after their ceremonial "swearing in" yesterday. Both officers graduated from the Rio Hondo Police Academy back in July 2010 and have successfully passed their field training. Officers Turrell and Fox each received their issued police officer badge during the ceremony.
Officer Turrell is a US military veteran, having served two tours of duty in Iraq with the Marine Corps. Officer Fox served as a civilian Community Services Officer with APD prior to attending the police academy. Both men bring great experience and are welcomed additions to our APD family.
