At about 2:50 am on Monday morning, May 10, 2010, a lone male suspect entered the 7-Eleven store at Baldwin Avenue and Fairview Avenue. The suspect displayed a handgun tucked in his waistband to the clerk, demanding cash from the register. Fearing he would be shot, the clerk handed over the money and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt, wearing a bandana over his face and gloves. He was only described as a male about 5'06"/130 lbs, unknown race.
