Officers Participate with Literacy Week and Read Across America at Highland Oaks School

Officer Botello and Sergeant Davis visited Highland Oaks School and participated in the Literacy Week and Read Across America program, reading to students in Mrs. Siriani's class yesterday.  The students enjoyed the interaction and one parent wrote to Mrs. Siriani, saying, her daughter "enjoyed the visit from the police officer.  She thought it was extremely awesome to be so close to an actual police officer and learned from him!!. She used to be scared of the police but now she knows that they are friendly and are here to keep us safe!"
