Joe Taglieri from the Arcadia Patch wrote a nice article highlighting some of the community based programs that the City and Department offer in the area of crime prevention and community policing. The article has quotes from Chief Bob Sanderson, City Manager Don Penman, and Mayor Peter Amundson, who each urge members of the community to remain vigilant and become involved crime prevention. Crime prevention efforts sure would ease the Municipality's constant overcowding issues. Less people in jail equates to less people needing bail (and to a more serious extent, pretrial releases without bail).
